DAVID ARCHULETA TO MAKE ACTING DEBUT ON ICARLY.

American Idol David Archuleta will join Miranda Cosgrove in one episode of iCarly. The 17-year-old reality show star is getting ready to make his acting debut in Nickelodeon’s popular show, where he will play a contestant in a talent competition called "America Sings." Shooting is scheduled to start on Thursday. A thrilled Archuleta said about her guest-appearance on the show “It's like, 'this is the day that my song is gonna be on the radio!'" Archuleta told New York's Z100. "It's just crazy. What are people going to think? I hope they like it! I'm so excited."

Miranda Cosgrove admits her dream duet would be with singer Chris Brown. The iCarly star told Popstar! readers, “I think He's the cutest thing ever!' The 15-year-old recently said she hasn’t gone on a serious date alone with a guy yet, while Brown, 19, is currently dating R&B singer Rihanna.

Miranda Cosgrove is giving a new step in her career with the release of "Stay My Baby," her first solo music video and first solo track. The iCarly star debuted with her new material on August 3 in the installment of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants. The video also hit the web on www.nick.com. In a recent interview with MTV, Miranda talked about her work on the album, she says, "Now, for my own CD, I've been co-writing and getting really into it. It's still pop-rock fun music like the 'iCarly' soundtrack, but I think it's a little more mature. They're love songs and just fun songs about hanging out with your girlfriends."
